Welcome to ChatXchange. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the ChatXchange mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

By creating an account or using ChatXchange, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the Service.

01Eligibility

You must meet the minimum age and legal requirements applicable in your country or region to use ChatXchange.

By using the Service, you confirm that you are legally permitted to use ChatXchange under applicable laws.

02Your Account

You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate account information
• Maintaining the security of your account
• Keeping your login credentials confidential
• All activities performed through your account
• Notifying us of unauthorized access

You must not impersonate another person or create an account using misleading or fraudulent information.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

03User Profiles

Users may create profiles and provide information about themselves.

You are responsible for ensuring that information you provide is accurate and does not violate the rights of others.

You must not use another person's identity, photograph, or personal information without appropriate authorization.

04Servers and Communities

ChatXchange allows users to create and participate in servers.

Server owners may manage their servers and create channels within those servers.

Server owners are responsible for managing their communities and ensuring that server content complies with these Terms and applicable laws.

We may take action against servers or communities that violate these Terms.

05Channels

Server owners may create channels within their servers.

Channels may be used for communication and community activities permitted by ChatXchange.

Users must not use channels to distribute illegal, abusive, fraudulent, harmful, or otherwise prohibited content.

06Messaging

ChatXchange provides individual and group messaging features.

You are responsible for the messages and content you send.

You must not use ChatXchange to:

• Harass or threaten others
• Promote violence
• Conduct fraud or scams
• Distribute malware
• Send spam
• Impersonate others
• Exploit or abuse other users
• Share unlawful content
• Violate another person's privacy or intellectual property rights

07Friend Requests and Server Requests

ChatXchange allows users to send friend requests and server-related requests.

Users must not abuse these features by sending excessive unwanted requests, spam, fraudulent invitations, or malicious content.

We may limit, suspend, or disable these features when necessary to prevent abuse.

08Prohibited Content and Conduct

You agree not to use ChatXchange to create, upload, send, distribute, or promote content or activity that:

• Is illegal
• Promotes violence or terrorism
• Threatens or encourages harm
• Harasses, bullies, or intimidates others
• Contains non-consensual sexual content
• Exploits or endangers minors
• Promotes fraud or scams
• Infringes intellectual property rights
• Contains malicious software
• Attempts to steal credentials or personal information
• Conducts spam or automated abuse
• Impersonates another person or organization
• Circumvents security or access controls
• Interferes with the operation of the Service

We reserve the right to remove prohibited content and take appropriate action against accounts or servers that violate these Terms.

09Reporting and Blocking

ChatXchange may provide tools that allow users to report or block other users or content.

Reports may be reviewed to determine whether action is required.

We may take actions including:

• Removing content
• Restricting accounts
• Restricting servers
• Suspending accounts
• Permanently terminating accounts

We are not required to take action on every report.

10Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

ChatXchange may offer paid subscriptions or premium features.

Subscriptions may be purchased through Apple App Store or Google Play and may be managed through RevenueCat.

By purchasing a subscription, you agree to the applicable payment provider's terms and billing policies.

Subscriptions may automatically renew unless cancelled according to the applicable platform's subscription settings.

ChatXchange does not control Apple's or Google's billing systems.

Refunds are generally handled according to the policies of the platform through which the purchase was made.

11Subscription Management

Users may be able to access subscription information through ChatXchange and/or the relevant app-store account.

Subscription status may depend on information received from Apple, Google, RevenueCat, or other authorized payment services.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue premium features where reasonably necessary.

12Intellectual Property

The ChatXchange application, branding, logos, design, software, features, and original content are owned by or licensed to ChatXchange and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, sell, lease, or commercially exploit the Service without appropriate authorization.

13User Content

You retain ownership of content that you create and submit to ChatXchange, subject to the rights necessary for us to operate the Service.

By submitting content, you grant ChatXchange a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, reproduce, process, and transmit that content as reasonably necessary to provide and operate the Service.

You represent that you have the necessary rights to submit the content.

14Third-Party Services

ChatXchange may integrate with third-party services, including payment, authentication, hosting, analytics, and other service providers.

Third-party services may have their own terms and privacy policies.

ChatXchange is not responsible for the independent practices or availability of third-party services.

15Account Suspension and Termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your account if:

• You violate these Terms
• You violate applicable laws
• Your account is involved in fraud or abuse
• Your activity creates a security risk
• Your activity harms other users or the Service

You may stop using ChatXchange at any time.

Account termination may result in the loss of access to your account, servers, messages, or other associated content, subject to applicable law and our retention obligations.

16Disclaimer

ChatXchange is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent permitted by law.

We do not guarantee that:

• The Service will always be available
• The Service will be error-free
• All messages or content will be delivered without interruption
• The Service will always be secure
• User-generated content will be accurate or reliable

17Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ChatXchange and its operators, affiliates, employees, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited under applicable law.

18Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

The updated version will include a revised "Last Updated" date.

Your continued use of ChatXchange after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

19Governing Law

These Terms shall be interpreted and governed by the applicable laws of the jurisdiction in which ChatXchange is legally established, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
